Welcome to Gilsland C of E Primary School
Together we achieve
Welcome and thank you for your interest in Gilsland C E Primary School.
Our school is situated in a beautiful village just on the border between Cumbria and Northumberland. We are lucky enough to have Hadrian's Wall right on our doorstep!
We take children from age 3 onwards- our nursery children are part of our Owl Class (EYFS and KS1) which means they are exposed to all the wonderful teaching and vocabulary that reception, Year 1 and year 2 are doing.
Our inclusive approach to education is at the heart of all that we do – we know how important it is to ensure every child is valued. You can read more about our values and how these are implemented in our SIAMs report.
This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
We invite you to browse our website to find out more about our delightful pupils, rich curriculum, wonderful staff and our community. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have.
